On Sept. 20, 2024, the Royal Oak City Commission convened in a closed session and selected finalists for the next City Manager from a pool of 54 applicants.
The commission has invited Joseph Gacioch (Ferndale City Manager) and Khalfani Stephens (Deputy Mayor of Pontiac) to interview on Saturday, Oct. 12, at City Hall. Public interviews will begin at 12:30 p.m.
