Regular and Special Meetings

The city commission meets at 7:30 p.m. typically on the second and fourth Mondays and will adhere to this pattern in January; April; June; July; August; September; October; and November. Due to holidays or elections meetings in March, May, and December will be on the second and third Mondays.  February meetings will be held the second Monday and fifth Thursday.    City commission meetings are held in the commission chambers room 121 at city hall unless otherwise indicated. 

2024 city commission regular meeting schedule is:   

  • January 8 and 22
  • February 12 and 29
  • March 11 and 18 
  • April 8 and 22 
  • May 13 and 20 
  • June 10 and 24
  • July 8 and 22
  • August 12 and 26
  • September 9 and 23
  • October 14 and 28 
  • November 11 and 25 
  • December 9 and 16

Special city commission meetings are scheduled as required. These meetings can be scheduled on different days of the week, at different times, and at different locations than the regular meetings. The 2024 special city commission meeting schedule currently includes: 

  • Monday, January 29, 2024 at 6:00p.m. budget work session in conference room 122 at city hall
  • Monday, February 29, 2024 at 6:00p.m. budget work session in conference room 122 at city hall
  • Monday, March 11, 2024 at 6:00p.m. budget work session in conference room 122 at city hall
