The major goal of the Royal Oak Nature Society is to protect, promote, maintain and improve nearly 50 acres of nature preserves (Cummingston Park & Tenhave Woods) located in the city of Royal Oak and to develop a special arboretum/wildflower garden located behind the Royal Oak Senior Center. In order to do all of this, the Nature Society is putting on a fundraiser.
Tickets can be purchased at our Nature Society speaker programs, our nature walks, from any Nature Society board member or by sending your check to us by mail. Make check payable to “Royal Oak Nature Society” and write “Fundraiser Tickets” in the memo section of the check. Send check to: Royal Oak Nature Society, 1600 N. Campbell Rd, Royal Oak, MI 48067. Ticket(s) will be waiting for you at the door. By purchasing your ticket(s) in advance, you will be eligible for the first chance at winning a door prize.
Food & Drinks: There will be light refreshments and a reasonable priced cash bar.
Activities include a Silent & a Live Auction with a large variety of interesting items to bid on, plus a 50/50 raffle.
Payment for auction items can be made by cash, check or credit card.
If you want to enjoy a pleasant evening with friends and other Nature Society supporters, please join us on Friday, April 27th in order to support our two nature parks and help in the development of the Royal Oak Arboretum.
