MeLCat Visiting Patron:
Visiting Patron, also known as Reciprocal Borrowing, is an optional service provided by MeLCat to give patrons of participating libraries the option to get immediate access to the materials they need. Patrons may go directly to another library that also participates in this service and check out available and eligible materials in person, using their home library card, without the need to place the request via MeLCat and wait for the materials to be delivered to their home libraries for pickup. Visit this link for participating libraries, and stop by our front desk to learn more.
MelCat:
If you cannot find your book in the TLN Catalog then ROPL cardholders can order books from across the state and have them delivered to ROPL. You should always check the TLN Catalog first because items inter-loaned through TLN arrive more quickly than those requested through MelCat.

MI Library Card:
We are also participants in the MI Library Card program that allows you to borrow books in person from libraries state-wide.
