Leaf Collection

Curbside Leaf Collection is Underway

  • Check the leaf collection tracker to see when crews will be in your neighborhood.
  • Keep cars off the street when No Parking signs are up — our leaf trucks need room to work! (Note: 'No Parking Signs' for Monday's collection area will be placed on Friday.)
  • And please—leaves only! Sticks, rocks, and debris can damage the vacuums and slow everything down.
  • Or skip the raking marathon altogether and “Leave the Leaves” in your garden beds! They make great natural mulch and a cozy winter home for pollinators.

Whether you rake or reuse, let’s keep Royal Oak beautiful this fall!

This Week in Parking

The countdown to a new parking system is underway, so here's what's going on THIS WEEK IN PARKING:

  • Concrete pads are being poured at some downtown locations to prepare for pay station installations.
  • Our new vendor is preparing a demo pay station to be installed at City Hall later this month--a great opportunity to try out the technology before it goes live!
  • Walker Wire is downtown beginning their removal of the old parking meters, cables, and equipment.
