Royal Oak has declared a snow emergency starting 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 16.

NO STREET PARKING during the emergency—vehicles may be ticketed if left on the street. Per the Snow Emergency Ordinance, residents have six hours to move their vehicles off the street to avoid a ticket. Since the snow emergency begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb 16, all vehicles must be off the street by 7 p.m.

Need a place to park? Use these public lots:

• Grant Park Lot (800 block of Fourth St.)
• Starr Jaycee Park Lot (1321 W. 13 Mile Rd.)

Plows may take up to 48 hours to clear all neighborhoods. Parked cars slow down plowing and create hazardous conditions. Please plan ahead!
