SAVE THE DATE: The Royal Oak Planning Commission will hold a required public hearing on the Proposed Master Plan during their regular meeting on:

Woodward Ave Corridor Plan

MDOT is seeking public feedback on the future of the M-1 (Woodward Avenue) Corridor from downtown Detroit to Pontiac, including parts of Royal Oak. Learn more about transportation data, safety reports, and city plans at upcoming open houses.

RainSmart Rebates

The City of Royal Oak, MI, and Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) have two RainSmart Informational Events coming up. 

  • Royal Oak Library on Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
  • Brown Iron Brewhouse on Mar 5 at 6 p.m..

Royal Oak residents can join the RainSmart Rebates pilot program and get up to $2,000 for installing green stormwater solutions like rain barrels, trees, or rain gardens. Applications open March 1, 2025. This two-year pilot is open to homeowners in the George W. Kuhn Drain District.

You do not need to live in Royal Oak to attend the informational sessions. All neighbors are welcome! Sign-ups are encouraged as space is limited, and these events were quite popular last year.
